On November 8, 1932, a beautiful baby girl, Elizabeth, was born to Elizabeth (Elliot) and Willie Robinson of Austin Texas. In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Henry E. Eppright of 51 years, four siblings; Percy Lee, Vernon, Frank, and Corinne (Robinson) Rice.
She departed this earthly realm on September 26, 2018 at the age of 85, in Huber Heights, Ohio following a brief and courageous battle with cancer.
Elizabeth attended east Austin schools and graduated from Old Anderson High School in 1950. Following high school, she attended and graduated from the Austin School of Business. For many years Elizabeth worked at the Austin State School and the Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired respectively until her retirement.
Elizabeth grew up in a Christian home and at a young age accepted Christ as her Savior. She was baptized at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the Reverend V.K. Black. Elizabeth and her husband Henry later joined St. Elmo Baptist Church under the leadership of the Reverend Lofton Levels. She loved her church family and continued to worship there until her health began to decline. She was an example of faith and dependence upon the Lord in all aspects of her life.
Elizabeth married the love of her life, Henry E. Eppright, in 1953. To this union two lovely children were born. She was a loving wife and mother and would go to the end of the earth to support and protect her family.
She lived an active, peaceful, and spiritual life. She enjoyed sitting outside on warm days with family and friends socializing and greeting neighbors.
Elizabeth loved family gatherings and was an excellent cook. She looked forward to preparing holiday meals and being surrounded by family and friends.
Elizabeth will be missed but we are comforted to know that she has a beautiful, eternal home in Heaven with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her two loving children; Ernest H. Eppright (Linda) of Austin, Texas and Brenda S. Evans (Ralph) of Huber Heights, Ohio; her adopted daughter, Wanda Pittmon, of Austin, Texas; grandson, Paul Eppright of San Antonio, Texas; granddaughter, Keidra S. Mitchell (Matthew) of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Crystal, Paul Jr., Alex, and Bella; three sisters, Edna M. Eppright, Bobbie Eppright and Mary Musson all of Austin, Texas; a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
