Emilio L. Reyna

Emilio "Popo" Lopez Reyna was called by our heavenly father on May 17, 2021 at the age of 83. Emilio was born in Weslaco, Texas on June 20, 1937 to Eliza Lopez who preceded him in death followed by his wife Susie Dominguez Reyna.

He is survived by sons Robert Joseph Reyna, Donald Ray Reyna Sr, Emilio Dominguez Reyna; wife Marcie and Sergio Rene Reyna. He was greatly loved by 10 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Emilio was a family man who loved his kids, grandchildren and great grandchildren more than anything. He was a loving and caring father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend. He was a fighter and a true protector for everyone he loved until the very end. Emilio was a Air Force veteran who also enjoyed listening and playing tejano music. His humorous personality always lit up the room. He will be truly missed by all family and friends.

Funeral services will occur at 2:00 P. M. Monday, May 24th, with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
