We have lots of special memories of Uncle Emmett. When we think of him we think of his love for God and for others. I think the last time we were in Austin we were in Sunday morning meeting at Uncle Emmett's and Aunt Lucille's. Their home was always open for company and Uncle Emmett was always a gracious host. Dear Lucille and children,    So many wonderful memories of special times spent in your open home.  Our hearts and thoughts were with you yesterday and today.  If we could all live with the testimony Emmett lived we would do much for the kingdom.  We learned so much from you all.  Our condolences and sincere thoughts go your way. We are very thankful for Emmett's very faithful life!!  He was a special man to many, and will be greatly missed!  We are thinking of you all!!



Dear Sansom family,  We go back years with you.  When Dale was single and in our first year of marriage. We have so many fond memories of all our times together during the years.  The get togethers and dominoes and fellowship. We will miss Emmett dearly, but he's at home now.  He's gone on to a much better place without sickness and pain and worries. Mrs. Sansom     We are so sorry for your loss of Emmett.  Emmett was a very special person.  I first met him when he worked for Gulf and later when he worked at the bread shop.  He was a great guy.

Emmett was a wonderful man, whom I was privileged to know and have fellowship with for the past 8 years.  He and his wife, Lucille, have been like beloved grandparents to me - his struggle is over and his reward lies ahead - what beauty.
