Ethel Hooks, 82, of Lampasas, was called home by our heavenly Father on Friday morning surrounded by family.
She married Gene Hooks, who preceded her in death in 2005. They were married for 57 years.
Ethel (maw-maw) will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her two children, Randy Hooks and his wife Yong of Hutto; Linda Beard and her husband Doug of Round Rock; Grandchildren, Cyndie Morrison and husband Victor of Manor; David Bennett of Austin; Great-Grandchildren, Tre’ and Daisy Morrison.
Visitation will be held at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Services will be at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Interment to follow immediately after at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
