

Chevy is survived by his wife Herminia Martinez Camarillo; son, Adrian K. Camarillo; grandson, Joseph Derek Camarillo and great-grandson, Jason; grandson, Jonathan Michael Camarillo and wife Crystal and great-grandsons Joell and Jaden; brother, John Camarillo and wife Beatrice; sisters-in-law, Luz Garcia and husband Robert, Delia Leal and husband John; brothers-in-law, Henry Martinez and wife Gloria, Alfredo Martinez, Charles Martinez and wife Dora; and many nieces and nephews.
Chevy served 6 years in the Army National Guard and was also a member and officer of the Independent Order of Foresters where he dedicated many hours of volunteer work. His love was soccer, having co-founded the South Austin Youth Soccer Association in 1978. He served as coach and refereed many soccer games for over 17 years. He never met a player that didn’t have potential.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7:00 pm.
Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be John David Camarillo, Juan Camarillo Jr., Alfredo Camarillo, Joseph Derek Camarillo, Jonathan Michael Camarillo and Michael Malone Catarineau.
The family wants to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at North Austin Medical Center ICU.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that you pray for all members of the Armed Forces serving now or that have served, and for the families of those who have fallen.
