Fernando Moreno Tovar

Fernando Moreno Tovar, 71, resident of Austin, TX sadly passed away peacefully on March 16, 2022, surrounded by his family. Fernando was born in Juventino Rosas Guanajuato, Mexico to Sylvestre (D) and Gilberta (D) Tovar on June 5, 1951.

Mr. Tovar is survived by his loving wife Celina, as well as his four daughters and their families, Valerie Rios (Leo), Marie Herrera (Joel), Apolonia Tovar (Stephen), and Victoria Tovar (Rene). His brothers and sisters, Hermelinda, Andrea, Apolinar, and Bernardino. He was blessed with 12 grandchildren Vanessa (Juan), Hereven Jr (Sabrina), Alyssa, Anthony (Kayla), Maria (Jesus), Clara (Christian), Brandon (Destinie), Errianna, Stephen, Diva, Andrew and Zoey, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way. Many beloved nephews and nieces.

He is preceded in death by his father Sylvestre Tovar, mother Gilberta Tovar, sisters Juana Tovar Moreno, Agripina Tovar Moreno de Lopez, Apolonia Tovar Moreno, Victoria Tovar Moreno, son Heriberto Eddie Rosauro Mendez, granddaughter Chloe Victoria Ramirez.

Our daddy/apa/popo was not a man of many words...but he had a big heart. He was a hardworking man always on the move. Up before sunrise, always occupied with a project or outdoors tending to his yard, plants or pets. He taught his children the importance of punctuality, hardwork and honesty. To always help others and be grateful for what you had.
