Forrest is survived by his mother, Marilyn Almond; his aunts and uncles Lovey and Sonny Driskell, Clifton and Carolyn Nauert, and George and Patti Nauert. He is predeceased by his father, Jake R. Almond and his brothers, Jake III, Mark William, and Ray Paul Almond.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 26th at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
Funeral services to be conducted on Thursday, January 27th, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church, 606 West 15th Street, Austin, TX 78701, with Pastor June Wilkins officiating. A reception will follow in the parlor. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Capital Parks Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Martin’s Lutheran Church of Austin.
