Francis Lynnette Alley, known by all as Lynnette, Mom or Grandmom was born on September 26, 1929, she lived a moral life. To her, rules were not gray, they were black and white. She tried to instill this ideal in anyone who would listen.
She worked as a mom until the kiddos were gone then went to college to earn her B.A. in Business. She worked as a secretary at University of Texas until she learned enough about accounting and she started working the books for UT. While she worked, she attended class during her lunch hour earning three hours of credit each semester.
Upon retirement, she gardened on her corner lot growing wildflowers specific to a prairie. She was a docent at Lady Bird’s Wildflower Center.
