

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco Sr. and Maria Rosales, his brother, Hector Rosales and his niece, Dawn East.
Junior is survived by his children, Francisco (Nuno) Rosales, Jamie Rosales and Jeffrey Rosales; his siblings, Martha and John Barrow, Dolina and Arnold McLaughlin, Corina Reaume, Edward Rosales, Raul and Frances Rosales. Diana Rosales, Steve Rosales, Lora Long; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Junior was the second oldest of nine siblings . He was born on January 8, 1949 to Francisco and Maria Rosales in Mission, Texas. He lived there until he was six years old. The family then moved to Corpus Christi and lived there until he was seventeen years old. The family then moved to Austin Texas so his sister could attend the Texas School for the Deaf.
He graduated from Johnston High School in 1968. Shortly after, he joined the Marine Corps where he served proudly for his country and fought in the Vietnam War and was awarded many medals.
Junior had a passion and talent for drawing; at a young age he painted the state capital beautifully on a piece of cardboard. He and his siblings as children would play G.I. Joe and made slingshots. He was a fun kid and enjoyed his childhood. He also loved the outdoors, going to the beach, fishing, walking and hiking. He was a great dad and grandfather. He enjoyed his time with his grandchildren and family.
Frank had a lot of love is his heart. He wanted everyone to know he loves them.
Visitation 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with Recitation of the Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm.
Funeral Mass 1:30 pm on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel.
Graveside Service 10:45 am on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas.
