Frank was born on May 16, 1927, in Austin, Texas to Alice Montana Huerta and Frank Huerta, Sr. He was a member of San Jose Catholic Church; a World War II and Korean Conflict Air Force Veteran and a retired Manager for Louis Shanks Furniture.
Survivors include his wife, Simona Villegas Huerta; sons, Frank Huerta, III and his wife Mary Ann; Tony and his wife Julie and Edward and his fiancée' Colleen Villarreal; eight grandchildren, Anthony, Edward, Eric, Angelina, Brandy, John, Joseph and Ana. He was preceded in death by his son John Paul Huerta.
A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at San Jose Catholic Church in Austin. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 11, 2014, at San Jose Catholic Church with burial to follow at Assumption Cemetery in Austin.
Serving as Pallbearers will be, Anthony David Huerta, Edward Christopher Huerta, Eric Huerta, Joseph Edward Huerta, David Huerta and Albert Villarreal. Honorary Pallbearers will be Raymond Huerta, Sr. and John Andrew Huerta.
