Frank George Owens, age 94, of Austin, passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010. Born in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 15, 1916, he spent his early years in Missouri, and in 1942 moved to El Paso, Texas and was employed at Biggs Field. He moved to Austin in 1949 where he was Vice President and Production Manager of True Fit a Wesley Pearson Enterprise for 32 years retiring in 1981.
Visitation will begin at 8:00 am on Monday, August 2, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress Avenue with Funeral Service to follow at 10:00 am. Interment will be held at Austin Memorial Park.
