Fred Miller Penick, Jr. passed away in Kerrville on April 25, 2004. The son of Fred Miller Penick and Julia C. Penick, Fred was born in Austin, Texas on April 16, 1924. He was a graduate of Austin High School and the University of Texas at Austin. He served in the Army for an extended period in the European Theater during World War II. He is survived by sons; Dale of Austin and Mark of Houston. Surviving him also, are two sisters; Jean Spiller of Austin and Joyce Wheless of Corpus Christi, and several grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted at Austin Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 28, 2004. Arrangements by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N.
