Helen was a beautiful, remarkable woman who gave selflessly to her family and friends....with grace, kindness and sweetness and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. What Helen loved most was spending time with her family. She courageously fought the affliction of her final year, her way, with strength and dignity.
Helen’s wishes were to be cremated, that interment be private, and that no religious services be held.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and say God bless to all those friends, acquaintances, and especially extended family who have been so helpful and supportive during this difficult time.
A special thank you to Virginia, what would we have done without you for these past 5+ years...you were always there for Helen as a companion and caregiver. We are blessed.
A Celebration of Life Service to honor Helen will be held at her home for family and friends in San Marcos, CA at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, June 26, 2011.
Helen will be privately laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, CA.
