Hernan Glenn Cortez, Jr. of Austin, Texas, passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 59. He was born on September 2, 1965, in Austin, Texas, where he grew up with his parents, four sisters, and a brother.
He graduated from Travis High School and worked as a self-employed truck driver for several years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carole E. Cortez. He is survived by his father, Hernan Glenn Cortez, Sr., and stepmother, Carole J. Cortez; sisters, Victoria Foss, Marta Stephens, Jill Hubach, and Ingrid Smith; brother, Troy Dillinger; and several nieces and nephews.
Glenn enjoyed watching his favorite TV shows, mainly old westerns and Star Trek. He liked dogs and spending time watching the birds and squirrels outside of his window.
The family would like to thank Bristol Hospice and Park Manor Nursing Home for the care and compassion they showed Glenn in his final days.
Interment will take place at Cook Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Garden in Oak Hill.
