She was a very well-liked employee at the IBM Corporation where she worked before retiring. She always carried a smile. She enjoyed music and especially loved to dance. She was admired for both her delicious homemade cakes and tacos.
She is survived by her daughter Sonia Gilchrist and son-in-law Paul Gilchrist of Austin, TX; her grandchildren Devon Zene, Caleb Zene, Alana Gilchrist and Kristen Gilchrist; Sisters Ora Ruiz, Olga Vega, Diana.Gomez and Gloria Adames; brothers Frank Adames., Rudy Adames and Fred Adames
Rosary and Services will be held at the St. Philip Catholic Church in Smiley, Tx on October 22nd 2022 at 10 a.m. followed by an Inurnment Service at the Burriola Cemetery in Smiley, TX.
Afterwards, a reception will be held at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Hall, located at 207 S. Washington St. in Nixon, TX.
