She was an incredibly strong and driven person, who loved her family more than anything. She graduated from the Institute of National and World Economics in 1989 with a degree in accounting. She went on to get her CPA and start her own accounting firm in Bulgaria before moving to the US in 2000. When she wasn’t at work she loved to tend to her garden, talk with her family, and cook delicious meals for her loved ones.
Irina enjoyed traveling to Europe and she was able to visit Paris and Vienna, a lifelong dream of hers. Most of all, she enjoyed being in her home country of Bulgaria, and visiting the many churches, cafes, and parks in her home city of Sofia. She enjoyed going to the Bulgarian seaside and spending the fall months in Sozopol.
She is survived by her husband and two daughters who love her and miss her very much.
