Irma was beautiful, creative and artistic. She could turn anything into a masterpiece. Irma had a passion for travel, music and dance and found beauty all around her. She was known for her ability to transform an average yard to a beautiful oasis. Irma would toil away for hours on end and get lost in her gardens. The neighborhood animals and wildlife knew that a visit to Irma’s would provide them with a meal and shelter. She enjoyed a wonderful life from her beginnings in Laredo to the upbringing of her family in Highland Park. Eventually she moved to Austin to be with her devoted and loving children, Michael and Sandra Said and her five grandchildren, Raylin, Knox, Sloane, Simone and Neve. She was the adored wife of Adil Said (D. 2021) and a cherished sister of Vicenta Cloos, Irene Rios, Rodolfo Cabrera, Imelda Torres and Lydia Moulder. Proceeded in death by her brothers, Rogelio Cabrera and Ricardo Cabrera. The first-born daughter of Celedonio and Vicenta Cabrera. Her memories will remain in our hearts forever.
