Janet DeGroot Wagner, age 86, of Cedar Creet, Texas died on Thursday, July 20, 2006. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gene Wagner, and daughter, Ruby Greet. She is survived by her children, Charlotte Jennings, Henry Smit, Patsy Maddox, Joe Wagner; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sadie Van Peirson. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm 8:00 pm on Monday, July 24, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 25, at Christ Lutheran Church with Reverend John C. Stennfeld officiating. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery in Manchaca, Texas.
