

A loving sister and aunt, Janet would open her home to family when needed. She loved life and always was smiling. In her career, she frequently was caregiver to elderly and cared for them as her own. She was a talkative person who had a personality that drew people to her. She had a deep love for cats and could not turn one away. She had seven cats whom she called her kids.
Janet will be remembered as a loving and compassionate person who loved her family near and far away. She was always trying to figure out how to do best for someone else. She enjoyed country music and listening to others sing karaoke. She loved to do crossword puzzles to pass the time.
Janet dealt with life the best she could after her loving husband and best friend Ray passed. When they were together it was good. Now they are together again.
Janet is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Zamora; brother, Brian Barrow; sister, Pamela; Barrow; niece, Deseri Pardo; and her parents Dora and Drew Barrow.
Janet is survived in death by her sisters Bertha Conner Culp and Laura Barrow Zonyk, ten nephews, 1 niece, 5 great nieces and 2 great nephews and other loving family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 W. William Cannon Dr., Austin, TX 78749.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow in Cook-Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
