Jeannie Andrada Harrison

Jeannie Andrada Harrison, went home to be wrapped in the loving arms of Jesus on August 12th, 2025. She fought valiantly to overcome NASH, a liver disease, and made it to her 70th birthday on May 25th and her 44th wedding anniversary on July 18th. She fought this disease for at least 8 years and was told over a year and a half ago, that she only had two weeks to 2 months to live. She went home and cried after that diagnosis, but she knew that no one really knows when it is our time to depart this Earthly realm, only our Father in Heaven. We know that she is no longer in the pain that she endured for so long and is now at peace in Heaven. She was a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and attended several different churches in Austin and Frisco, most recently, Life Austin.

Jeannie grew up in Austin and was a 4th generation Austinite. She worked many different jobs before she met and married the love of her life, Allen Harrison. She was a server at the original steakhouse in Austin, the Nighthawk, and met many celebrities, congressmen and dignitaries while there. She was working at Motorola as an operator testing semiconductor devices for many years where she met Allen. When they married she quit working and stayed home to raise their family.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jaime Noel Harrison in 2000, her brother John Albert Andrada and her Mom, Teresa Villarreal. She is survived by her loving husband who was her caregiver for the last 8 years, Allen Harrison. Her daughters, Jeanette Florez and Kyla Noel Harrison, and her son Sean Allen Harrison along with their families including 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 4 great grandsons. She had 5 sisters, two brothers and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be missed by many as she was always there to counsel and provide loving support to so many of her family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, Texas 78749. Reception to follow.
