Jennifer Kay Sweeney was born on March 23, 1956 at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps base, North Carolina, and passed away on July 30, 2025 in Austin, Texas at age 69. She had a miraculous life, traveling all over the world and living in places as varied as Alaska and Germany. She had an infectious laugh and sense of humor, and her kindness was immeasurable. She was a devoted mother, friend, sister, and the youngest daughter of Chester and Elizabeth Krist. She is survived by her daughter, Katherine Jones, former step sons, Tim and Tom Sweeney, her siblings Anne Greene, Jone Johnson, Debra Krist, and John Krist, and her cat, Chai. She wholly and deeply loved, and was loved by her family and friends just the same. Jenny was the sun on a rainy day and was home to all that knew her. A celebration of her life will be held privately at a family home.
