Jimmie Edwin Lehmann

Surrounded by his family, Jimmie Edwin Lehmann passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014, in Seton Medical Center Austin, Texas. The viewing is scheduled on August 12, 2014, 6:00pm – 8:00pm Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752. A celebration of life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2014; at 10:00am Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78752. Jimmie was born on July 22, 1949 in Austin Texas, to Gertrude (Trudy) Alma Herzog Davis and Herbert Lee Lehmann.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his Father Herbert Lee Lehmann, Brother Bobby Lehmann, and step dad Roy Edwin Davis. Jimmie was a sweet spirited man who had a very close and affectionate relationship with his family, always ready to listen and help in any way. He was known among the Niece and Nephews as the “fun Uncle”

Jimmie worked for many years as the Manager of the convenience store Stop N Go, creating many lasting friendships along the way.

Jimmie is survived by his Mother Gertrude (Trudy) Alma Herzog Davis who says “He was a good son” his brother Delbert Lee Lehmann and wife Barbara (Barb) Lehmann who say “he will truly be missed”, His Niece Melinda (Mindy) Beth Lehmann Coley and two sons Joshua Elston (of Winnsboro) and Chase Beebe of Princeton Texas, His Nephews Delbert Lee Lehmann Junior, wife Katherine and four children Tristan, Brandon, Danielle and John Robert of Kingsland Texas, Roy Edwin (his name sake) Lehmann, wife Courtney, and three children Olivia, Ashley and Riley of Odessa Texas, and Adam Lee Lehmann Sr., wife Amanda and three children Britny, Janis, and Adam Lee Junior of Kingsland, Texas.
