JoAnn Bagan

JoAnn was born on January 22, 1930 to Alvin and Nadine Gaulke in Kansas City, MO. After JoAnn graduated from Paseo High School in Kansas City, M.O. in 1947 she attended Kansas City Jr. College with studies in art. She then pursued a successful career finishing as a highly skilled Executive Secretary.

She worked in the Electrical Engineering industry for over 20 years. JoAnn excelled with the transition from manual typewriters to the birth of the computer industry. She mastered the challenges of using computers before the introduction of our now familiar Windows format.

In, 1960 she met Bob Bagan from Winnipeg, Canada. They were married in CA in March 1964 JoAnn went on to have 2 children Robin and Jennifer. She had 4 other children from her previous marriage; Mark, Karen, Charyl and Greg Stockwell.

JoAnn enjoyed a variety of crafts, including needlework and sewing for her family. She also enjoyed dabbling some with outdoor gardening and hanging plants. But by far her biggest passion was retail therapy.

JoAnn retired in 1994 and shortly after she and Bob took the opportunity to start their life together in the exciting town of Las Vegas, NV.

JoAnn was predeceased by Robert Bagan, husband; Karen Lennon, daughter; Mark Stockwell, son; Jessica Stockwell, granddaughter. and Matthew Stockwell, grandson. She is survived by Charyl Strugalski, daughter; Greg Stockwell, son; Robin Riley, daughter; Jennifer Moody, daughter; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
