Jody McCreary

Jody graduated from McCallum High School and went on to graduate with the class of 1977, at Baylor University. An active charter member of Austin Baptist Church, she was passionate about her faith and she loved the Lord. Jody loved life and was dedicated to her family and friends.

She left her family with a great loss, beautiful memories and heaven’s gain. We look forward to seeing her when Jesus comes again.

Jody was preceded in death by her brother, William Henry.

She is survived by her parents; one sister, Beverly McCreary; the three loves of her life, her nephews, Chris Allen and wife, Rose, Brian Allen and Stephen Allen and wife, Leeann; her two special friends; Vanessa and Hope and many other family members and friends. Jody was also very devoted to her pets.

Friends and family are cordially invited to attend a visitation on Friday, the 27th of January 2012 from five o’clock until seven o’clock in the evening at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, TX. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, the 28th of January 2012 at one o’clock in the afternoon at Austin Baptist Church, 9003 Waterford Centre Boulevard, Austin, TX.
