
To: Mary Ann and family.  My deepest sympathy and my prayers are with you.  During this time of sorrow, may you find consolation in knowing that Almighty God is near to comfort you.  We have a wonderful resurrection hope of being reunited with our love ones again.  In his word the Bible, God assures us, â€œThere is going to be a resurrectionâ€¦â€â€”Acts 24:15.  â€œAnd he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.â€ â€”Revelation 21:4.  Keep holding on to Godâ€™s future promises, because his words are â€œfaithful and trueâ€.  Also take comfort in knowing so many dear friends care for you.

You were a great friend Joe.  I met you through my niece Cris and we stayed friends ever since. I thank God that we had a chance to have you as a dear friend. It was a great pleasure of meeting my good and dear friend Joe.  He was my greatest neighbor I've ever had.  We spent many many occasions together with lots of laughter.  My entire family loved him so much.  My kids would call him Uncle Joe cause he was just like family to us.  I know how much sorrow it brought him when I told him we were moving but I promised him I would keep in touch no matter what.  I can gladly say we still would get together for football games, boxing matches or just family gatherings.  It was good to have Joe there laughing away and he always had some interesting stories.  He loved his wife and two sons with all his heart and he made sure to mention them in every visit he made :) These past few months I've been so busy with a new house being built and then finally moving last month that I haven't reached out to Joe and just this past Saturday on our drive to Austin my youngest son Eric asked for Joe out of the blue.  I tried calling his old cell number but it didn't go through and my husband said he would stop by his house and see if he had a different number.  Today I got the call that my dear friend Joe passed away Sunday.  My God, it hit me hard! I wish I could of said good bye...RIP my dear good friend, I love you.  Cris Chapa



 IAM GREATFULLFOR TIME I GOT TO  SEE AND SPEND  WITH MY COUSIN BEFORE HIS DEPARTURE FROM THIS EARTH .I KNOW THAT HE IS WITH GOD NOW AND NO LONGER HURTING.THE LAST TIME I SAW JOE ,HE REMINDED ME SO MUCH OF MY OWN DAD,   THANK GOD FOR JESUS !!! WE WILL ALL BE ABLE TO BE TOGETHER AGAIN SOME DAY...                                                                              



Mr. Hernandez will be remembered forever for the supportive, caring, and hilarious father he was to my best friend. His memory will live on in the lives of his two wonderful sons who have become the great men they are by his guidance and love. 
All my prayers and love are with Jason, Joe, and MaryAnn during this terrible time. I know from experience that there's nothing worse than losing your parent, but being surrounded by family and friends who love you keeps you strong. 
Peace be with you, my best friend. I love you, Jason!

As the father of our daughter's husband-to-be, we were very much looking forward to spending time with you and your family as our children plan their future lives together.   We see that you have raised your son with good, loving and ethical values and we would have liked to have met the father who instilled such values in his family.  We can feel the great love that your family has for you and how much they will mourn your passing.  We wish we had been given the time to spend with you but we know that your immortal soul will share all the joys of our children's happiness together, and you will be there to guide them along the way.  We love you for all you did to help shape your son into the man that our daughter loves and respects so much. Thank you, and rest in the loving peace that is your reward for the good life you have led and shared with so many others.
