Joe M. Rios, Jr., passed peacefully to eternal rest on May 11, 2006. He was the love of his wife Beatrices life for 38 years. He was surrounded by his wife, children, family and loved ones. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife Beatrice Rios; his children, Carmen Rios, Carla Rios, George Rios and wife Beverly Ratzlaff; brothers, Gabriel Rios, Alex Rios, Phillip Rios; sisters, Loy Barrera, Alice Rios; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Victoria Rios; son, Sonny Rios; and brother, Merced Rios. Joe was retired from the City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department, where he worked over 20 years. The family would like to thank Dr. Pohl and the staff at Seton Hospital. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm 9:00 pm on Saturday, May 13, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 14, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Chapel.
