

Johnie Floyd Plumley October 14, 1919-August 23, 2007 Born in Central Texas to James Ellis Pude Plumley and Bessie Jane Billings Plumley on October 14, 1919; whom has already passed from this world. Johnie retired from Excavation Contracting in 1975 and has been active in fishing and hunting ever since. In his years he has seen many changes in Austin and the Central Texas area. He is descended from the famous and infamous alike in his ancestry. He leaves a legacy for his children and their children that will be forever in our hearts and minds. He is preceded in death by his brothers; James Eugene Sonny Plumley, Arthur William Plumley and his sister; Viola Sue Plumley Lallier. He is survived by his wife of 69 years; Jewel Mae Taylor Plumley whom he married on August 14, 1938. His son, Johnnie Eugene Gene Plumley and wife, Judy of Cedar Creek; his daughter, Janet K. Taylor-Carusi and husband Richard Rick Carusi of Cottonwood Shores; his son, Floyd Plumley and wife, Linda Miller-Plumley of Cedar Creek. He leaves behind grandchildren; Deborah Doherty of Wimberley; John Allan Allan Plumley of Brownwood; Johnnie Eugene JJ Plumley of Cedar Creek; Joy Beth Butler Plumley Dunmire and husband, John Dunmire of Cedar Creek; Cassandra L Foradory of Cleveland, Tennessee; Crystal L. Foradory Paul and husband, Jason Paul of Georgetown; Kristina E. Plumley-Rahi of Cedar Creek; and Katrina M. Plumley Wymer and husband, Jason Robert Wymer of Austin. He also leaves behind 5 great grandchildren; Johnnie Wayne Plumley, Elizabeth Lyn Paul and Amber Lee Paul of Georgetown, Micah Lightfoot Wymer of Austin, and Gabriel Lee Dunmire of Cedar Creek. Other surviving relatives include: his nephew James A. Plumley, nieces Linda Lallier Montemayor and Sue Baldwin. Graveside services will be held at Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Oak Hill, Texas Monday, August 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. Honorary Pallbearers: James A. Plumley, Darrell Agnew, Tuffy Davis, Bill Plumley, David Whited and Jerry Goldstein.
