What can you say about a person like Johnnie that hasn't been said already? He touched so many lives and his beautiful smile was just a small reward to us all. Everyone I've talk to has expressed such deep love and affection for this man I will forever call "Papa Love" because he was all that and much more. I can tell you I did my best to make his final years the most enjoyable years of his life. I wanted to treat him like a king and many times I think I did just that. We had some hard times too but that is overshadowed by so many great times we shared together. He taught me so many good qualities I will always cherish and be thankful for. We built a great place together here in Austin. We called it "our own personal park," I will rename it to "Johnnie's Palace." He loved his dogs Logan (in heaven with Johnnie), Judy (his favorite because of her humble nature) and Ginger (the feisty energetic one). They do feel his absence, its dog intuition like you've never seen. Many can say he reminded them of an older Andy Griffin, or maybe even John Wayne, some have even compared him to Will Rogers. I personally can say he was all of them combined and much more maybe even superman. Papa Love, you meant so much to me and so many people. I can feel your presence around me every day now and I know you will guide me and protect me from above. Say big hellos to Bud Berny, Woody, Wright & Jon and your family and friends with you now, I know they were there waiting for you in heaven. I told you once, "when I die, you better be there at the pearly gates because I will come looking for you" and you answered, "I will be there waiting with open arms." I will always love you and I know everyone who had the honor of knowing you loved you too. Thank you Mary & Shirley, "We" couldn't have done it without you. Johnnie had the most respect and admiration for both of you. Good bye John Charles Jones, until we meet again. I will forever love you and I will never forget you!
