Jonathan D. Breaux, born November 10, 1969, in Seattle, Washington, was the youngest of seven Breaux siblings and the first to leave this world, a loss that profoundly impacts his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Robert Marie Breaux, in 1987, and his father, Joseph Clifton Breaux, Sr., in 1992. Jonathan had an adventurous childhood, playing tackle football for the Rainier Beach 89’ers Green Youth Team in Seattle before the family relocated to Houston, Texas, in 1979. There, he earned a black belt in Taekwondo and attended McArthur High School, later completing his GED. He spent cherished time visiting and working with his sisters in Los Angeles before settling near his brothers in Austin, Texas. Jonathan lived with an open heart, embracing everyone without judgment. He faced challenges with courage and left behind a legacy of love and kindness. Jonathan is survived by his siblings: Joseph C. Breaux, Jr. (Lynn), Reginald K. Breaux (Linda), Brenda J. Breaux, Freddie H. Breaux, Katheryn D. Breaux, and Anita Breaux-Malone (Dwight), along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Jonathan was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed. His memory will endure as a testament to a life of love, resilience, and joy. In lieu of flowers, please say positive prayers for the Breaux Family’s strength, health and future.
