Joseph E Kirk

Joseph proudly served his country for over 20 years in the United States Air Force, eventually retiring as a Major. He later went on to continue to serve his community and retired from the state. Some of Joseph’s life passions included woodworking, leather crafting, and traveling with his beautiful wife Beatrice. He was also a part of the Austin Garden and enjoyed Bus Tours with friends while on his travels with Bea.

Joseph is preceded in death by his parents and brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife Beatrice Kirk, several family members and many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to Joseph’s caregivers who not only took care of Joseph within the past year but also brought peace and comfort to his family.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 6300 West William Cannon Drive, Austin, TX 78749.
