

Joseph C. Sparks Joseph C. Sparks, (The Greatest Man in the World,) 62, of Austin, died April 26, 2004. He was born in Austin, Texas on June 22, 1941, to Jack Sparks and Beulah Campbell Sparks. He graduated from Austin High School in 1959, and then graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. Josephs career started with Goodbody & Co. as a Stockbroker and Financial Advisor, he later became senior vice president for RBC Dain Rauscher. Joe Sparks was proud to be a Texan and he lived his life according to this perceived destiny. He was an outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, camping, and UT sporting events. He was truly a man of his word. He cared deeply about and constantly strived to improve the welfare of his family, his friends, and his clients. Survivors include his wife, Sadi Sparks; sons, Justin Sparks and his wife Leah, and Jason Sparks; daughter, Jessica Sparks; granddaughter, Ariana Sparks; brother, Sam Sparks and his wife Melinda; and sister Sandra Martin and her husband C.A. Martin. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Sparks, David Sparks, Scott Sparks, Rick Sparks, Miles Perron, and George Martin. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 30, 2004 at Tarrytown United Methodist Church, 2601 Exposition. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
