
I was very sorry to hear of Joyce's passing.  She will forever be missed in our hearts.  See you in heaven Joyce!    To the family, my prayers are with you.



I will always remember those great time's I worked for you when you were Director of Res. Services.  We had some good times talking about if the rest of'em would get out of the way and let us run the place-we could do a heck of a lot better job.You will be missed Joyce.

I was Joyce's assistant while she was Director of Residential Services at Austin State School.  She had a little statue of meerkats that she said represented her crew.  I was one.  She encouraged me to think outside the box and to push myself beyond my comfort zone.  Because of Joyce I went back to school.    It was always evident how much she valued her family.  My condolences and sympathy for your loss.



Joyce was a wonderful and caring lady whom I had the pleasure of working with at the Austin State School.  She helped me through a very trying time in my career at the Austin State School and I will never forget her.



I extend my deepest sympathy to Joyce's family.  Her departure saddens me greatly.  She served as my mentor at Austin State School and I grew to love and admire her.  She had "spunk" and integrity and taught my a great deal about surviving a career at the state school. I shall always remember her fondly and carry the lessons she taught me throughout my life.



Joyce was a great lady.  I am glad I had to opportunity to know and work with her during her time at Austin State School.    Roberta

Aunt Joyce was a special person. She touched the lives of so many people in so many ways. She will be deeply missed.  I am glad we were able to spend time with her in Minnesota and talk about family times. I also enjoyed receiving emails from her.   She loved life and her family.

I thank Joyce Holz for the memories that she leaves with me.  Joyce was a supervisor, a mentor, and a friend.  I always admired that she stood for and stood up for what was right. When I think of Aunt Joyce, fond memories come to mind. She always had so much enthusiasm for life and always had something lined up for us to do when we visited. We did not just sit and talk, we talked and went exploring things around town. I will deeply miss Aunt Joyce, her emails, her notes. She was so proud of her family, especially her grandson Clayton.    I pray that Aunt Joyce is at peace and she has no more pain.     God Bless - Gina
