After being born in Maryland and moving around throughout her childhood and young adult life, Carol set roots down in Dallas, TX. She led a wide and varied career, during which she was highly regarded personally and professionally in her workplaces. Adopting technology early on enabled her to make contributions that were ahead of her time. In the final phase of her career, Carol pursued graphic arts and design, her dream, before retiring in 2009.
Her quirky and effervescent personality, unbreakable will and determination, and lightning-fast wit made an impression on everyone she met. Her love for family, particularly the children, made all of their lives better. Her favorite times were those spent with her loved ones, particularly on or near the water, enjoying something delicious.
She joins her father Ray, mother Elma, and brother Ray "Buzz" Jr., who preceded her passing. She leaves her sisters Ann, Karen, and Kathy; son Josh and his wife Ruth-Ann; along with her beloved nieces and nephews, Paul, Michele, Jordan, David, and Hunter; as well as grandnieces and grandnephews, Zulema, Jordan Jr., Manoel, Louis, Atticus, Odin, August, and Evelyn.
Absolutely no obligation to make a donation in her memory, but these two groups represent some of her values and help our community:
