Kathy Stephenson Field

Kathy S. Field, born Sallie Katherine Stephenson, was called home on March 6, 2013 in Austin, TX. She was born on February 15, 1952 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jo and Morris Stephenson. Kathy had the phenomenal talent to move you with her spirit; she sang her way into many hearts, studied at SMU, and lived her life for her family and friends. Raised in Arlington, TX where she met her husband in kindergarten; she blessed many souls and never knew a stranger.

She is survived by her husband Donald Field, their children and spouses: Christopher and Nicole Field, Mindy and Bret Safarik, Kellie and Andrew Fehler, Travis and Katie Field, and her brother Larry Stephenson and his wife, Joyce. She will always watch over her grandchildren Kaya Field-Fehler and Madison Bridges-Field, as well as her future grandchildren. She will be missed by her extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews, God children and the numerous friends she always considered family.

Services will be held at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church in Round Rock, TX on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. and a graveside ceremony at Palm Valley Lutheran Church in Round Rock, TX. Reception will follow graveside service at St. Richard’s Episcopal Church.
