Katie Emma Nehring Krueger Katie Emma Nehring Krueger, age 94, entered into eternal rest with her God, on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, in Austin, Texas. Born on December 13, 1910, to Christian August Nehring and Emma Prinz Nehring and reared at the family farm in Dessau, north of Austin. She left to marry on June 6, 1937. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie W. Krueger Sr. in 1965 and her son, Bennie W. Krueger Jr. in 1996. Among those left to rejoice in her long life are son, Jim L. Krueger and wife Paula; grandson, Michael P. Nassif and wife Jenna; great-granddaughters, Jordan Nassif and Madeline Nassif; grandson, Barrett L. Krueger and Jeana Shaver; granddaughter, Meredith A. Krueger; brother, Raymond Nehring; sister, Bernice Anderson and husband Harold; nephews, Stan Anderson and wife Betty, Charles Mueller and wife Lillian, Ron Mueller and wife Bonnie, Walt Krueger, Melvin Soderburg and wife Jean, Larry Krueger and wife Linda; nieces, Deborah Hansen and husband Winfred, Barbara Kelm and husband Pat. Katie was loved by many for her special sparkle and will be missed by all who were blessed to know her. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm on Thursday, March 3, 2005, at Wilke-Clay-Fish Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, March 4, 2005, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 409 W. Ben White where Katie had worshipped for fifty three years, with Pastor Tim Anderson officiating.
