Kenneth Wayne Goheen

Kenneth Wayne Goheen, 65, of Austin, TX, left us to be with the Lord on Saturday June 3rd, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Goheen; daughters, Amanda Goheen and Alayna Cloyd; his brother, Dennis Goheen and sister, Patti Warren, as well as several nieces, great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Dixie Goheen.

Ken was born on October 15, 1957, in Hutchinson, Kansas. He graduated from Hutchinson High and continued his education at numerous Universities and schools including Kansas University, University of Texas at Austin, Texas State University, Austin Community College and others. Outside of his continuous education throughout his life, he was a very hard worker and was constantly doing whatever he could to provide for his family. He spent a big part of his life working in the real estate industry in numerous facets.

Ken also spent 7 years as a reservist in the United States Navy working in the intelligence unit during Operation Desert Storm. He received many accommodations including Sailor of the Quarter twice and was also awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal.

When he wasn’t working, he mostly enjoyed relaxing at home watching TV and following all of his sports teams. He also tried his best to study God’s word and trust and believe in the path God wanted for him.
