He was married to the love of his life, Mary Alice Livingston, on September 13, 1958. Kenneth was a longshoreman for many years at the Port of Brownsville before relocating his family to Austin, Texas. His passion was loving, and spending time with his family. He also loved the great outdoors, enjoying the beauty of nature, hunting and fishing. He loved spending time in the garden with his love, Mary, creating their Garden of Eden where they've enjoyed many wonderful years with their girls.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Merton Armitage and sister Betty Anderson.
He will be greatly missed by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Mary; his loving daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Geoff Allen of Yorktown, Virginia and Laurie Eaves of Round Rock, Texas; his beloved granddaughters; Kristin Allen of Yorktown, Virginia and Kaitlyn Eaves of Round Rock, Texas; and loving sisters and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Bill Thompson and Janice Koss, all of Austin, Texas. Although his sisters and brother-in-law are family, they were also his very best friends. They have, along with their families, provided never ending love and support. In addition, he was blessed with an abundance of family and friends who further enriched his life.
The family would like to thank the staff at Regency Village Care Center, Hospice Austin and St. David's South Austin Medical Center for all the wonderful, compassionate care they provided to him and our family.
