Kyle Austin Mechaley

A Memorial Service was held on Monday, March 11, 2013, at 5:00 pm, at the New River Chapel, at New River Air Station, Jacksonville, NC. , and was officiated by Chaplain Massie.

A visitation will be held for friends of the family on Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church, located at 10010 Anderson Mill Rd., Austin, TX 78750. The Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm following the visitation. Reverend David Lutz and Reverend David Minnich will be officiating the service.

Kyle was born in Honolulu, HI and was the son of John and Lisa Jones Mechaley. He was a freshman at Southwest High School.

Kyle is survived by his parents, John and Lisa Jones Mechaley of the home; one sister, Ashley R. Mechaley of the home; paternal grandfather, John R. Mechaley and wife, Sunny of Bastrop, TX; paternal grandmother, Sondra Haskett Mechaley of Austin, TX; maternal grandfather, Thomas W. Jones and wife, Tracy of Waxahachie, TX and maternal grandmother, Nellie Newton Flores and husband, Rudy of Ft. Worth, TX.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that Memorial Donations be made to the Kyle Mechaley Fund c/o Jones Funeral Home, 303 Chaney Ave., Jacksonville, NC 28540 to be given to Kyle’s favorite charity at the appropriate time.
