Leonard Draper, 92, was born on November 15, 1920, in Malvern, Pennsylvania to Jesse and Annie Draper. He died on October 28, 2013, in Round Rock, Texas.
Leonard served with the U.S. Army in WW II from 1942-1945 as a B-17 Gunner and Sgt. He met his wife, Geraldine shortly after, and they married and resided in the Cicero/Berwyn area before moving to Austin in 1952.
He was employed by Steck-Vaughn Co. for many years, followed by Hart Graphics, all as a printer.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Bernice, brothers Don and Harold, and his wife of over 50 years, Geraldine, as well as many in-laws and relations. Leonard is survived by his two children, Jeff and Donna, and their families.
A Memorial service with Military honors will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Weed-Corley-Fish Chapel, 3125 N. Lamar.
