Linda June Sappington Otto was born June 9th, 1948 to Vivan and Herbert Sappington in Houston, TX, and passed away peacefully on June 15th, 2023 in Austin, TX while under the care of Hospice Austin.
A devoted wife and mom, Linda was married to Dennis Otto (1945-2022) and raised two sons, Ryan and Erik. They lived primarily in Milpitas, CA and then later moved to Tucson, AZ, before relocating to Texas in 2021. Linda is survived by her sons, brother Charles Sappington, sister Dolla Pinney, and grandchildren, Olivia and Mason Otto.
During her time in Milpitas, Linda was actively involved with numerous organizations such as Milpitas Women’s Club, Rotary Club, Little league and high school sports, as well as being the de facto driver for all her children's field trips.
There will be a Celebration of Life for both Linda and Dennis held at Eden Church, Campbell, CA on September 9th, 2023. All are welcome to attend. A private interment will be held among close family members at a later date.
