Lois Ann Aubry On May 12, 1950 the grace of God in Christ Jesus blessed us with the birth of Lois Ann Aubry. Born in Springfield, Illinois to her parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. George Becker, she was baptized into Christ on June 4, 1950. This verse was given in remembrance of her baptism day and she lived her life according to its purpose, Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering (Hebrews 10:23). Lois learned to know the power and indescribable love of God and dedicated her life to mirroring this love to everyone she met. Everyone Lois met saw the love of the Lord magnified in her. She was truly a disciple of the Lord, serving the Lord selflessly and without boundaries. She displayed the virtues of encouragement and strength as displayed by her namesake Lois in second Timothy. Her family and friends describe her as someone who always put others before herself. She exemplified the courage portrayed in her confirmation verse, Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart; wait, I say, on the Lord. (Psalm 27:14). No matter how much pain she was going through, Lois never thought about herself, but always took the time to care for others. She joyfully served 20 years as the glue of the German Auto Center, spreading her smiles and grace to everyone she encountered. Her radiant smile was and is a reminder of the intense love she had for her family, friends, and the Lord. The goodness of Gods grace in Jesus Christ was bestowed on Lois when she was united in marriage with Arthur Stephen Aubry, III, on Easter Sunday, April 18, 1976. His faithfulness through 28 years of happy marriage, together with their three children, Stephanie, Patrick, and Matthew, were special signs of Gods goodness in her life. Lois is survived by her mother, Elaine Becker; her siblings, Mrs. Ruth Mueller and husband, Stephen; Mr. Paul Becker and wife, Donna; and Ms. Beth Fischenich; and her nieces and nephews, Jim Mueller and wife, April and children Isaiah and Ivy; Jennifer Mueller and daughter, Alexandra; Christopher Fischenich; and Sean and Eric Becker. The coronation of Gods grace rested upon Lois Ann Aubry at the departure of this life on April 9, 2004 in Austin, Texas. One of her favorite Bible verses, Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. (Revelation 2:10), has now reached its complete fulfillment in Christ Jesus, her only Savior. The family will receive friends and visitors from 6:00 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 11, 2004 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home.
