Louise Daniel Schneider

She was born on December 16, 1926 to James Hinton Daniel and Ethel Childs Daniel. Louise met her husband, Art (Arthur) in Castroville, Texas and they married in 1946 in Cotulla, Texas. He preceded her in death on May 30,1998. She remained faithful to his memory the rest of her life.

Louise started her career to help support her husband while he finished his degree. She continued to develop her skills until she retired from Austin’s Children’s Medical Group as the head medical bookkeeper. She took a leave from her early career to raise her two sons.

A truly beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, she brought a warm friendly loving nature to all those she knew. She was a very genuine person whom many are blessed to have known.

She is survived by her sons, Donald A. Schneider of Austin and Stephen B. (Genie) Schneider of Mobile, AL; grandson, Devin; granddaughter, Meredith; great-granddaughter, Maya; and her sister by marriage Doris Schneider Marshall. She is survived and loved also by nieces and nephews, James Daniel, Bunnie Daniel Moore, Marilyn Daniel, Patricia Daniel, David Daniel, Alan Daniel, and James Marshall.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, December 30, 2014 in the Manchaca United Methodist Church Hospitality Room, 1011 FM 1626. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary. Interment will be at Live Oak Community Cemetery in Manchaca.
