

Louise was born on March 6, 1935, in Villanueva, New Mexico, to Juan and Matilda Gallegos. On July 4, 1957, she married the love of her life, James “Jimmy” Triplett. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and service.
As a proud Air Force family, Louise and Jimmy spent many years traveling and living throughout the United States and abroad. During Jimmy’s 20-year military career, they lived in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Alaska, Colorado, California, Maryland, Texas, Virginia, and in England. Wherever life took them, Louise created a warm and loving home for her family.
Louise attended high school and later nursing school, beginning her career as a nurse before later working in retail sales. She was known for her caring nature and dedication to helping others.
She was a devoted member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and was active in the Catholic Daughters of America and The Great Club. Her faith played a vital role in her life and guided her love and generosity toward others.
Louise found great joy in gardening, making ceramics, and cooking and baking for her family. Her kitchen was often the heart of family gatherings, where her warmth and love brought everyone together.
She is survived by her loving children: Cheryl (Frederick) Kramme, Penny Triplett, and Kimberly (Lee Hyden); her grandchildren Matthew (Maggie) Kramme, Kaitlin (Mat) Jaroslawski, James Murray, Leo Rhys Murray and Juan Meraz (Cori); and her cherished great-grandchildren Emmett Kramme, Evelyn Kramme, Mason Jaroslawski, Teddi Jaroslawski, Hart Jaroslawski, Lucy Meraz, Parker Kramme and his mother Roseann, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan, and Matilda Gallegos; her beloved husband, James “Jimmy” Triplett; her brothers and sisters, Carmen Maldonado, Catarino Gallegos, Frances Bustos, John Gallegos, Celina Sena; and her grandson, Brendan Kramme.
Louise cherished her family, her friends, and her faith. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, devotion, and the deep love she shared with all who knew her.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 12041 Bittern Hollow, Austin, Texas 78758, with a reception to follow.
Interment will be private and held Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
