Lucille Sander

Doris “Lucille” Frosch Sander went to be with her Heavenly Father on December 19, 2021, at the age of 87. Lucille was born on October 22, 1934 in Lexington, Texas to her parents Herbert Frosch and Lena Winkler Frosch.

Lucille married Louis Alvin Sander on October 24th, 1954. They spent their married life in Austin Texas where they were members of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Lucille gave birth to three children Alan, Patricia, and Sheryl but she cared for many more children. Lucille owned and operated a day care for 27 years where she was loved and cherished by the children in her day care

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, husband Louis Sander, her daughter Patricia Sander, her grandson Brad Sander and numerous other family members.

Lucille is survived by her son Alan Sander and wife Brenda and her daughter Sheryl Arldt and husband Jeff. Lucille is also survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses and numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation for Lucille will be held Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78752. A funeral service will occur Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 10:00 AM, at Redeemer Lutheran Church 1500 West Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78757 with a graveside service following at Cook-Walden/ Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 North I-35 Interstate Highway, Pflugerville, Texas 78660.
