Mamie Darlene Porter

Mamie "Darlene" Porter, 89, of Austin, Texas passed away peacefully during the early morning hours on Monday, December 6, 2021. Darlene was the oldest of three daughters to the late Truett and Hazel Stewart of Devine, Texas.

Darlene was born in Natalia, Texas and grew up in Devine when she was young. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother who loved to travel, having visited just about every state in the country and several places overseas. Darlene lived a full life surrounded by her loving family.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 69 years, Jack Porter; her loving daughter and son-in-law Linda and Bill Broaddus; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Nancy Porter; four grandchildren, Jenni and Scott Carter, Chrissy and Tyler Payne and Matthew Porter and Sarah Porter; four great-grandchildren, Sawyer and Tatum Carter and Emma and Zoe Payne; two sisters, Joann Evans, Bonnie and Tim Mikes; three nieces, Debbie Davis, Pegi Coker and Melissa Denman; and one nephew, John Mikes.

A graveside service for Mamie will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Austin Memorial Park, 2800 Hancock Drive, Austin, Texas 78731.
