

He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara; his parents, Nazario and Carmen Frias; several brothers and sisters; a son, Raul Frias; a daughter, Carmelita Frias and a granddaughter, Debbie Malcik. He is survived by his sons, Manuel (Christina) from Dallas, TX, Robert (Kathy) from Cleveland, TX, Frederico Frias from San Antonio, TX; daughters, Minerva (Robert) LePage from Massachusetts and Graciela Frias from Austin, TX; sister, Luisa Frias from Austin, TX; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In 1920, his family immigrated to Ft. Worth, TX. Unable to find a Society of Friends (Quakers) church, his family became charter members of Gethsemane Mexican Presbyterian Church. In 1938, he became a US naturalized citizen.
After moving to Austin, TX, he joined the First Mexican Baptist Church. He was proud that all his children graduated from high school and attended college. He was a faithful fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns.
A viewing will be held from 12 Noon to 2 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 S. Congress, Austin, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Internment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery, 14501 N. IH 35, Pflugerville, TX.
