

Marcelino Arizpe, 70, passed away on the 15th of January, 2011. He was born in San Francisco de Conchos, Chihuahua, Mexico on the 20th of June, 1940, to Jesus and Herminia Arizpe. Marcelino loved singing, dancing, gardening and being in nature. He was also the previous owner of his own construction company in El Paso for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Herminia Arizpe, his sister, Lorenza Arizpe, and his brother, Emeterio Arizpe. He is survived by his wife Maria Victoria, his sons Rene Torres of Elgin, Texas, Marcelino Arizpe Jr. of Elgin, Texas, Eddie Carrera of Elgin, Texas, his daughters Rocio Matthews of Manor, Texas and Marcela Arizpe of Elgin, Texas, his brothers, Lazaro Arizpe of Corpus Christi, Texas, Victor Arizpe of Austin, Texas, Jose Luis Arizpe of Denton, Texas, Ismael Arizpe of Chihuahua, Mexico, Jesus Arizpe of Chihuahua, Mexico and Juan Arizpe of El Paso, Texas, and his sisters Alejandra Arizpe of Chihuahua, Mexico and Guadalupe Arizpe of Chihuahua, Mexico. Friends are cordially invited to a gathering with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening, with the reciting of the rosary at seven o’clock in the evening on Tuesday, the 18th of January, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar Boulevard, Austin, Texas. The Memorial Mass is to be celebrated at ten o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 19th of January, 2011, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5909 Reicher Drive, Austin, Texas.
