Margie was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 6, 1934. She had fond memories of living on a ranch as a newlywed as well as her many travels later in life. She loved angels, which is fitting because she was a true angel to her family and friends. She had a loving, caring, and generous nature. She was a devoted sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was very proud of her families' accomplishments and she loved to brag about them. She worked hard to provide opportunities for her family. With little education, she worked as a supervisor in an insurance company. Later, she was a successful flooring business owner and well respected in the community. She never met a stranger. She will be truly missed by all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest Casanova and Mary Margaret Turner Maldonado; her brothers, Ernest Casanova and Charles "Charlie" Maldonado (Linda); her sister Mary Agnes Maldonado Thomas (Ray); and great-granddaughter, Patience Alderman.
She is survived by her beloved sisters and their spouses: Rose Marie Casanova Coker, Sylvia Maldonado Garcia, (Arnold "Nolo"), Linda Maldonado Burrage (Joe), Alice Ruth "Bootsie" Maldonado Campos (Al), Jeannie Maldonado Carvajal (Eddie), Olga Maldonado Looney (Scott), and Lizzie Maldonado Ramon (Julian); cherished children and their spouses: Ginger Sutton (Rusty), Louis R.
