He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Salvador San Mateo and Araceli V. San Mateo.
Mario is survived by his sisters, Sonia (Dodie) Soller, Carina Wood, and Christina (Jeffrey) Wanner, niece Charisse (Alex) Wilson, Cerina (Michael) Valdez, Carina (Matt) Lynn Adams as well as numerous other loving family and friends.
Mass will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 10:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Austin. Graveside to follow at Cook Walden Forest Oaks Memorial Park in Austin.
