Marjorie Vivian Lorraine Johnson McCabe Marjorie Vivian Lorraine Johnson McCabe passed from this life at the age of 79, on January 31, 2005. Marjorie was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 16, 1925 to Harry L. and Stella (Dieseth) Johnson. Marjorie had lived in Austin for the past 40 years where she was a Real Estate Investor and managed the El Camino and Cosmopolitan Apartment Complexes. She not only collected the rent but served as Mother Superior, Father Advice, a sincere care giver, and most of all a loving, caring, and understanding friend. Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband Elton and is survived by her brother Don Johnson of South Dakota; four step children, Jo Ann McLester of Rockport Texas, Elton, Jr of Slidell, LA, Tom, of Alexandria, LA, Dennis of New Hampshire; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many loving friends. Visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 3, 2005 at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home and funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, with Reverend Dan Gardner officiating.
